Description
These are just some study sketches I did rather quickly with the intent of practicing movement and little details like hands and placement of the arms. The model is actually Máiréad Nesbit [link ], a famous fiddle player from the Celtic Woman . The passion she plays with as she dances around the stage is amazing. I sketched these very quickly while watching the DVD of their preformance at Slane Castle, Ireland.
If you have never seen a Celtic Woman preformace, I recommend buying a DVD!

Nice sketches.
I have purchased a DVD, as well as having seen them in person.

Aw, thanks! I realized while doing these that it is quite a challenge to do live sketches while the subject of your sketch is constantly moving. I hold even higher appreciation for all of the artists out there who do this, and are faaaar better than I am!
I love Celtic Women. I took my sister to one of their concerts in 2012 as a wedding present.
