My very first tutorial. I hope this helps people create their own little miniature dragon sculptures. Since it now seems to be my addiction. Feedback is much appreciated. Let me know if I didn't detail enough.If you use this tutorial please add a link in your submission and let me know, I'd love to see your version.

Do you place the marble where it needs to be before or after you bake the dragon?

Didnt you read the whole tutorial? At the bottom it says "make sure to bake it with the marble or it wont fit afterword."

This is SO amazing! Oh my god! I truly love dragons and I've been wondering about making a dragon in clay.. Because it is something it would make me so happy! Yeah, they do. But it gives the best results, I think.

That part is a little more difficult to explain. You just kind of have to shape the clay the way you want it to look. You can make the legs and arms separately and blend them onto the body or shape it all out of the same ball. It works best if your clay is well conditioned (soft).

this is so cool!! made one from a different type of clay yesterday but i sure wanna try this. lokks amazing and i especially like that its got scales. Truly remarkable

Thanks! If you over bake it, it will burn and could possibly turn brittle.
