Broadway has been temporarily pedestrianised between 42nd and 47th street in order to try and improve traffic in the area. Chairs have been laid on the closed section of the road and are proving extremely popular with residents and tourists, around the clock.

Great shot! I knew it was Broadway right away when I saw the thumb, before I read your comment, cause of David Letterman haha when this pedestrianised thing started, he was always talking about it in the first part of his show
