Breath taking..... Instant fave.
It's the kind of 'vision' not photo but -vision- that makes you breath in and forget to breath out for so long afterwards.
I know i've been littering comments across your account but as i've said to others i view far more then i'll ever comment on, for me to comment something has to have a reaction out of me, an instant impact be it negative or positive, be it physical or emotional.
I love the clouds that hang like malleable ink stains mopping up the sky which guilds and gilts across the tops of landscapes. I love the way parts of the landscape rise from being background into their own element with trees reaching like fractured old fingers to pull down the sky. The reflection on the water, pools with a splash of gold...almost like the world's coming down.
Even the formation of the swans? makes for a perfect composition, and them lending their text book serenity to the picture and a sense of fluidity, movement and with it that of time....yet they're -passing- the vision which gives every bated breath that little belief that maybe sometimes...time really can stand still .

The blues and yellows are really nice on this. Very calming - but then you look up at the clouds and realise it's not gonna be so calm in a while. Very cool.

Sweet shot, but frankly I think you should have named it "QUACK!" or "The Flying V" (for those of us who grew up with The Mighty Ducks). X makes is sound so scary when its all peaceful. Great shot!
