Description
A couple of concepts I created for the Heavy Gear Assault project I am working on: a building at the top, and some paneling below. The building is inspired by the heavy gear universe and will be part of the background. The panel will be featured in the gaming arena, amongst the mass of main structures. All painted from scratch in Photoshop CS5. This image is not available to buy as it's copyrighted by the client.

Cheers - normally I do high res finished stuff, but I like doing this faster less refined stuff a lot too. Nice to get stuff finished quick.

When you see stuff looking good less finished it atleast means your concept is strong and it doesn't need excessive detail to hide behind, and yeah finishing stuff is important, otherwise you probably just have loads of unfinished pieces in your WIP folder lol.

The building is set in the game background, it's influenced by the 'heavy gear' environment.
The panel is part of a game arena, where gears will fight it out. Obviously this panel is just part of a huge assembly of structures. This is kind of a 'gap filler' between structures etc.
