Tremors art yay!I love that scene at the end of Tremors3 where Burt is playing rc cars in the desert with the resident graboid El Blanco. Theirs is a love-hate relationship... El Blanco is a constant and persistent threat, which is the kind of threat Burt thrives on. EB gives him something to survive all the time, and without the threat of globalnuclear war (he didn't take the fall of the soviet union very well) he'd be hard pressed to find something as dangerous and unpredictable as perfection valley in this day and age. Plus El Blanco's existence in the valley makes the area his protected habitat and lets Burt and his fellow Perfectionites keep their isolated lifestyle (staves off housing development). And El Blanco... he likes Burt best ^^ this is because he's learned to identify Burt's vibrations through the earth over anyone else's. He'd leave a sure meal to chase Burt down and eat him. This is the nature of their complicated life ^^
I wanted to get the nicer side of their relationship ^_^

And trivia... did you know Michael Gross is 6'3.5"!?! I had no idea he was that tall! Sorry, just geeking out

I've only seen the first two, and I think the last time I saw the second one was when I was like...7 years old...
Though I saw the set for Tremors 2 once while on a camping trip (unless of course my dad was just BS-ing me).

that might manage to make up for the badness i remember in the second one. i'll have to give it a chance then. and i can get all four in one neat little set at wal-mart for less than $15 after sales tax. couldn't even manage to rent them for that.
did you ever watch the TV series for it? my brother was absolutely addicted to it for a while, so i watched a bit and it was really fun too.

I adore the relationship between Burt and El Blanco, it's like a wild pet that follows him home, but not because it wants companionship.

I adore that everyone adores Burt and all he wants is to be left alone. I also love that he's still stuck on Heather... that heartless Reba McIntire, they were so cute in the first movie.
Although I'm sure everyone's getting the feeling that Nancy's glad she's gone ^^

Haaa ha ha ha. Everyone I know thinks Burt and Nancy are an item of some sort. Personally I think she thinks of herself as "Mom" and Burt as "that teenage boy who can't get over his girlfriend". She does take good care of him, and makes sure he's still alive from time to time. Plus she's the only one in Perfection patient enough to deal with his antics and then tell him to chill out, every time.

He's such a teenager, determined to take care of himself, overracting to everything, thinking the world is out to get him, being awkward with girls... I just watched the alien episode "paranoia among friends" last night, and the fact that Burt's password is "Heather" breaks your heart a little bit..

As for iTunes, they've removed Tremors from their library! Augh! From what I heard they might have had better quality than Amazon.
If I were you, I'd wait. While it looks bleak that Universal will let Stampede have its day and release Tremors on DVD, I say wait. I know I'm not going to buy another episode until then. I can't stand the artifact that's been left in the audio, and I intend to notify Amazon of this problem.
