She is about to regenerate inside a Cocoon, the goblins are there to protect her until she wakes up again.

She is beautiful! Is she being held captive in this scene? She seems quite confident and in control.

The idea was that although the character can die, sheΒ also comes back to life again. So although she is mortally wounded in the picture she looks confident as she knows that she will be reborn.
If you look closely at her left foot you can see a little caterpillar starting to make the cocoon that she will regenerate in. In the Advanced version of this character she is stepping out of the cocoon with her 'upgraded' armor.

Thanks for the explanation, that is really cool. I love the 'advanced' version as well. She is appealingly voluptuous and has a pretty face, and I love the idea of her regenerating into upgraded armour and taking her revenge!
