Eh heh heh heh... I wouldn't say that to rabid Miyamoto fans. They'd eat you a live. I like Miyamoto, but not as a rabid fan.
Any way, there's no reason you can take Peach out of character in your fan work, and make her kick ass.
But if you want to stick with more "official" character standards, that's good too.
