I rode this one before taking the photos.
it had been a while for me, too. got my brother to join, even though he didn't want to at first, but in the end he was happy I did.

the dizzy part is what I like about long exposure captures of carousels. they always look so much faster than they are.

haha yea in reality it's quite slow
well the theme park where i live doesn't have a carousel or a ferris wheel!!

this one couldn't be called slow. it did gain some speed, even if there were faster rides at the fair.
but if this one had been any faster, it might have been bad for me. the plastic seat was really slippery and felt myself being pushed around in it. that was a little scary.
otherwise it was as much fun as I remembered from years ago.

are there ever any fairs/festivals that come with carousels around your place? that might be a chance for you.

hmm we don't have fairs here D: so sad.. i wanted to go to a carnival of some sort like the ones in the movies~ which always turns out to be horror movies...

not scared OF the carousel, more like scared of falling off.
there was quite some wiggle space on that seat... nothing a good grip on the bars can't fix, though.

if you ever go to a carnival, I hope it won't turn out like in the horror movies. you probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it then.
