8th one of the emoticon series.This time:
Base size: 4.5cm (1.77") in diameter
Yay, the first one with hands.
Also the first one that made me stab my fingers 3 times in under 10 minutes...
Still, this is one of the smileys I use the most here on dA. Was about time I added him to the series.
(And what the hell happened to "I'll upload it on Monday, because I really need to go to bed now"?

hmmm, because I had to come up with a pattern for the hands and the mouth and because I was still improving the base shape, it took me about 5 to 6 hours.
now that I have a finalized pattern for it, I would imagine it taking about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. the base itself usually takes me a little over 2 hours, depending on how motivated I am. (besides, I often watch TV while crocheting, to distract me from the boring middle rounds - that slows me down a bit
