4th one of the emoticon series.This time:
Size: 4.5cm (1.77") in diameter
I'm kinda disappointed in this one, because try as I might, I never managed to get the mouth look less like he has horse teeth...

i think it would look better if u had the mouth already in the basic shape and not added on it.

oh, believe me, I've tried. the thing is just that you never get smooth edges that way. so frustrating to come up with a good compromise.
I've also tried embroidery, but for something that big it's not the best solution either. and since I'm a purist, who doesn't let glue anywhere near my plushies, felt's out of the question, too.
if I ever find a better way to do this, he'll be revamped, but until then he'll have to live with his horse teeth.

I really like the tightness of the stitches I have tried to make emotes and it looks ridiculous lol good work I think you did an awesome job.

oh, but keep trying. one day you'll manage a good-looking one.
the tight stitches are a result of me using the smallest hook recommended for the yarn of my choice. that way I can avoid having the stuffing shine through the stitches.

some people have told me they like it because of the horse teeth... but one day I'll try to optimize the pattern so that the teeth won't be that prominent.
