Arguably one of the most iconic takes on The Dark Knight, Batman Beyond has always been a cult favorite amongst comic book fans and those of animation. Probably one of the coolest aspects of this take on The Dark Knight, was arguably the Bat-Suit. It is simply the most memorable as the standard costume, whether it be black and grey or grey and Blue. Terry's costume in the DC Unlimited is kept the same with visual elements from the Sean Murphy take in Beyond The White Knight, and the added cavoite of covering his mouth and coloring his eyes red, to give him a more demonic look, accompanied talon like gloves that make him easily intimidating. Terry's characterization is that he's entering his early adult years, 20 years of age at this point in his career and has gained the sense of being his own Batman, after the events of Return of The Joker. After Bruce's death, Terry has taken up leading Wayne Tech alongside Tim Drake and Luke Fox Jr. and inheriting everything Bruce left behind, not just the mantle, but also the Wayne Estate, where he, Ace, Dana, and Matt now reside in. Without Bruce, Terry now operates as Batman alone now, with aid coming from his best friend Max. But once the universe is at stake, he leaps into the fray and into our current day.
