Grasshoppers' abdomens are more elongated, and cylindrical.

Nice little nasty bug, pretty colors and perched so harmlessly up on that glass one wouldn't think it could strip an entire bush in a single day. The perfect metaphor, if I do say so myself and a very nice picture too.

ew.
thats disgusting.

(it's funny, though, how when you look like him... he actually looks a lot like the grasshopper in a bugs life...)

nonetheless, it's still gross.

Is the metaphor like comparing DA users like a small bug to the whole world? Being able to be squashed on by bigger things? Whatever it is this picture is nice, and the grasshopper is cute

sorry about what's been happening lately. I'm here for ya all the way Jark!

Glad to see your not backing down either.

I will keep on asking and asking Macbeth and his bitch(es?) for an answer.
The thing is Scott, Spyed won't be so smug when ever he is in company with a large group of deviants.
I DO hope that the Summit is running next year

Hey, Jark, I've only been a deviant for a month and watching you for a day. But except for the recent unpleasantness, I've really enjoyed being a part of the site. I like so many have little information about what's going on, but I deplore the clumsy underhanded hijinks of note so far. I appreciate your hard work and wish the best for your future preoccupation. I'm glad you're still posting and visible. Let us know if you set up a legal fund, huh?

It's premature except to speculate. I'm sure we'll hear more in the coming weeks and months. I just have a feeling that only legal means have the power to press a convincing leadership statement from the upper structure instead of this deadly silence. Even if both sides have good ammunition, I'd still contribute $ towards making all the cards show up on the table visible to everybody. I can't help but think that would make a compelling object lesson for business at large. I dream of a tell-all WIRED article. Or maybe Forbes.

i couldnt agree more. although we do know where the silence is coming from, it still is painful. with all of the supporters even if everyone only gave 5 dollars it would be so much money in the bank...

Man I hate those things.

It's a very nice shot though. So crisp and how you can see all the details of the bug's little carapice. Wish I had a camera like that.

My kohlrabi and radish plants are constantly infested with harlequin stinkbugs...
If they're not sucking sap, they're mating while sucking sap. I find that I like throwing them up into the air and watching them fall, or, better yet, stuffing them into my dog's nose.
