Description
This is Random Realities Steam Punk Warp Capable Trike .This is our prototype for an in system fighter space craft with the ability to take the fight home to the martian invaders . Currently the warp nacelles and anti-matter conduits need installed . But the real problem seems to be the inertial damping field as the last prototype had none and when test launching it on a beach at the Jersey shore the pilot was left behind in a heap when the trike took off with amazing speed and then scattered itself hither and yon as it had no one steering it .

Amazing design, but is it eco-friendly like this other revolutionary bike?

I do like it , but I just look at this as an opportunity to make a new ship thingy. I haven't narrowed it down to much yet. I have three I'm considering.

I love the word thingy!!! you are pretty cool. I thought you didn't like my writing when you wrote that narcissistic comment on one but then I understood it was the feeling of the poem not the person, and that poems convey different meanings to people. But you are really cool. you really are! I think you should write more. I would love to read your poems.

Dyslexic? That's okay I'm ADD and bipolar. My thoughts are always scattered and misplaced. But that is what an artist is, is it not? Someone flawed but with an understanding of how life works. Words are misplaced and backwards but that gives them a certain potency. Maybe something that someone has not considered before.

I'm guessing you have more then enough skills to make one yourself if you want . On the other hand I might part with her if the price were right . I bet you would have a bunch of fun making your own and it would probably be even cooler .

??? Steering ? Yep , still working on that . It's fine at tricycle speeds ,but after that , impulse speed and up it gets a little hinky to say the least .

Glad you like it . Story line ? I'm sorry sir , but I'm totally committed to ridding the earth of the last of the Martian invaders and carrying the fight to Mars . I suggest you see your local recruiter and do your part to protect friends and family from the Martian scourge .

I took scrap parts from 7 different Worksman tricycles and made one good one then started turning it into this prototype warp speed tryke .I doubt that I will ever truly finish it as I will probably keep changing and " making it better " .Unless that is someone buys it off me .

Sorry for taking so long to reply , I really appreciate your kind words .I was waiting to reply because I'd been asked to put it on display a steampunk event and was going to let you know when I had heard more . A lass I haven't heard anything lately and am not even sure the event will happen . Things to come up .If I hear more I will post it .

That is pretty clever and looks great, if not very practical. It is a true work of art and I'm sure you get a lot of heads tunring. If you managed to make this driven by an electric motor it may become usable. Dewalt makes some decent 36 volt lithium DC motors for their hand drills that could work nicely. I have a friend who has an electric car, and when he swapped his heavy lead acid batteries for those he dropped a good 700 # out of the car and has better range now with more charging cycles, but those batteries will cost you about $150 each.

Glad you like it . It does weight a ton , but I wasn't really going to use it for anything .It has a three speed hub in it for what it's worth .I have a couple of old wheel chair motors that I'm thinking of using in it and I figured a motorcycle battery might work just as well as a lithium for this purpose .Much heavier but cheaper .

Very true. Around here they have artcar parades from time to time, and creative vehicles like this are always welcome. I would just hate to see you have to work that hard to run the course. They do not move fast, but that would still be quite taxing. You want to enjoy the ride as people smile at your unique craft.

Why thank you ,it's never really going to be done I just keep finding cool things to up grade it with .Now I'm getting ready to add Warp Nacelles ,they've been done for months I just hadn't thought of a way I liked for making the pylons . They will fold out like on the Phoenix from "First Contact ". One more thing , you can actually ride it , it's a three speed .Now to get the inertial dampening field working ...

Chuckle , on Star Trek space ships they have these big long things on poles that stick out the sides of the ships "usually with pretty lights " Those are the warp field generators that are housed in the warp nacelles . The poles holding them up are called the pylons , just a more interesting way to say pole or pier .When you're in a car or on a bike and accelerate or go around a corner you get pushed back into the seat or thrown one way or the other , it's those G-forces the astronauts have to deal with . The inertial dampening field is what keeps that from happening in the movies or TV .Other wise the crews on the fake space ships would be turned into a thin paste on the back bulkhead because the ships accelerate so fast "thousands of times faster then real rocket ships ".
