Description
A Halo themed style frame to help me visualize my goal for a small animated film I'm planning on making. The goal was to achieve a "80's sci-fi" look with a lot off contrast, saturated colors, grain, anamorphic lens-flares... The hardest part was to match the relatively "crisp" CG elements to the other already "damage" elements, but as an first attempt I believed it came out pretty good

That looks amazing indeed! I love it, and the compositing is amazingly well done, merging CG elements with real photo's is one of the hardest things there is, for those big budged movies like ''War of the Worlds'' ''Jurassic Park'' ''King Kong'' and ''Lord of the Rings'', compositing takes up half the time and half the budged of the special effects.
And for a first try, I think it is amazingly well done! Keep up the good work!

That's so awesome! Love how well this turned out to really bring the style of Halo- and adding motion blur with little noise gives realistic photograph-look
