I had a surgery to remove a birthmark, than a follow up surgery to reduce the scar size and shape.
So in a sense, a form of plastic / appearance surgery.

Amazing how we shifted from talking about "Jimothy", to talking about surgeries. Although, I guess we aren't too off point. As surgery plays a big part in his character.
Did it ever say what happened to him after the Pre-Sequel?

Uhh to my knowledge? He's still alive, I played through the normal mode to the end and he still seemed to work for Jack but had many disagreements with him toward the end of the story.
It's been confirmed as well that he was not the body double you kill in Borderlands 2 as well, it's possible he could show up in the possible upcoming Borderlands 3, since they're hunting Vault Hunters to help with some huge problem going on.

Yeah, "Jimothy" showed potential to change. Problem is: He's stuck with Jack's face. A face people wish to kill with much fire. But, surgery gave him the face, surgery can remove it.
Also, how many Body Doubles does Jack really have? How do we know it wasn't a Body Double at the end of B.L.2?

Poor Tim-Tams, he can't have it removed, the exploding joke has to deal with a bomb that will explode if he changes his face. (Look it up I'm serious)
No idea, I assume several? Tim-Tams was the first I know but he probably had more after he took over hyperion.
