THE LADY STARLIGHT RIDER VANQUISHER OF DARKNESS AND DEFENDER OF THE WEAK!
MAY HER BLADE STRIKE TRUE AND HER MIND STAY SHARP!!

To explain the nonsense.
Rider supposively gained her rank by defending a village from a creature that came from the everfree forest (presumably a large timber wolf or similar creature. However with gossip the monster changes with each retelling) in which she was referred to as "Vanquisher" or "Defender" for awhile. Her military rank is equivalent to a Knight or Captain.
Her cutie mark (A shooting star) also represents her quick wit and rational thinking in times of stress and peril. So the title began to stick after the event that brought her glory since her actions matched her talent.
Rider actively plays down her rank and due to her advancing age prefers to take a back seat to events now a days.

With how Rider's hair is colored I didn't have the patience to go through and shade it. And with her armor it's a grey and white gradient so there was no way I could shade that X_X
Especially not with all those separate pieces.
What I did was an overlay of a white and black gradient where I want the "sun" to be coming from.
