Description
This is the Imperial Naval Vessel Dominion, a capital-class siege ship constructed and utilized during the Second Psychic War. The ship went missing just before one of the final battles of the war and was one of the greatest mysteries of the era until it was found years later by salvagers.I'll post the full story with the finished model.

Well the big ones are beam projectors: they direct a cylindrical ionized beam at their target, then flood the beam with superhot plasma. The smaller ones are scanners and cameras for targeting.

Well I'll post the full story with the finished model, but in short it was recovered, restored and purchased from the salvagers by their sponsor, who always wanted his own planet-smacker.

That is it's forte, it drops into orbit, rolls onto its side and just unleashes all sorts of hell on the planet below.

It's reminiscent of the ship Honor Harrington had in On Manticore Station - except it was meant for close range ship-to-ship broadsiding, not planet raep.
