Bio: Ajax

A young Red Dragon wyrmling, Ajax has the full name of Ajixinibafarshan (roughly ‘fire-claw’ in Draconic), but like is the trend for many young dragons of his generation he shortens and condenses it for ‘human’ pronunciation. Very independent from a young age, Ajax left his parent’s nest at only five years old to try and forge his own path in the world. Ajax learnt many a tough lesson in the next six years that he was out on his own, and he still had no lair or true hoard to call his own by the time the 42nd Hussars found him in 3137. Having never really seen humans from more than a distance before, the experience of being surrounded by soldiers and netted when he tried to run proved more than a little scary. He met Castor and Pollux on the ride to the aid event tent via VTOL, and after experiencing the sights, sounds, and smells of the aid tent decided to run away. Not just independent and intelligent, Ajax can be very conniving, and he managed to incite a small riot of sorts among the other gathered wyrmlings by convincing them that the humans were torturing the dragons that were taken into the back, with the screams as evidence (really, it was a medical exam, blood draw, and vaccinations—all Ajax got told by a doctor was that the dragons in back were getting a ‘poke to prevent disease’, didn’t like the sound of that idea, and spun a lurid tale of doom to a few of the more nervous looking wyrmlings who were there). He, Castor, and Pollux managed to escape in the enthusing chaos and started traipsing through the woods along a highway, where they met Ren.

Age: 11 years old (3137) DOB: May 4th, 3126

Homeworld: Minecraftia, the Medieval Fantasy district

Height: 4’9” human, 4 feet to withers and 6’4” to tip of horns

Preferred Outfit: Things he got from Ren—a pair of footie pajamas for bed, and a pair of blue jeans alongside a red T-Shirt with a dragon on it for daily wear

Special Skills: Is very good at analyzing somebody for personality and weaknesses, gaining mechanical knowledge

Personality: Usually friendly and caring to most once he gets to know them, Ajax is a personable drake who enjoys being with friends. He looks up to Ren as a father figure of sorts and can often be found trailing the larger drake and learning from him (Ren lets Ajax pass him tools when he works on things). Due to his own preconceived notions he had made about needles after asking the doctor in the tent, and partially believing his own story about torture, his own first time being pricked for a blood test was horribly painful to him because of his tension, stress, and struggling, only further cementing those notions. Therefore, any time a needle is mentioned at the few times they’ve been to the doctors ever since their first ordeal and he has no escape from it, he’s just broken down sobbing and been completely inconsolable until long after the ordeal is over. He also has trouble trusting humans that want to help him for the same reason.

Yeah, Ajax never really has had a good experience at the doctor's, and must be gently coaxed and rewarded for the staff to get anywhere. Of course, once a needle is involved, the immense effort to calm him down is all for naught as he wails, sobs, and pleads. He's become quite interested in mechanical things since helping Ren work on cars, and the older drake is happily teaching the young red how things work. Being s year older and much more experienced in the wild then his two 'siblings' Castor and Pollux, the two younger black dragons tend to look up to Ajax in a crisis if Ren is not immediately present. He's taken this responsibility to heart, trying his best to be a good big brother in their little family of choice at Stormweaver Citadel.
