But I believe that most navigators aren't working on high level ships and visible to normal ship crews until they resemble the submerged maniac you see on the right. Just wanted to clarify that.*

This is part of a series of pieces I did that took what abhumans in 40k are "described" as and reveals what's more realistic/believable in the grim dark setting. Note that this may not be the true appearance of every member of this race's population but it's more likely given the ways that mutants are treated and where they are cultivated.

This collection started with the idea to take what many people would think a felinid would look like (cat girls in 40k) and illustrate what they would more likely look like (human/feline hybrid mutants.) A lot of people have had their takes on these characters and this is mine, at least in my head canon.
