Anyone here ever seen the Super Mario Bros. anime,"The Great Mission to Save Princess Peach"? It's basically a retelling of the original Super Mario Bros. For the most part it was okay, except for at the end.<____<This part is kinda a spoiler, but this movie's 25 years old now anyways!'3'
Throughout the movie, Mario and Luigi travel with this little blue dog who at the end turns out to be a prince, Prince Haru engaged to Peach as they both wear these magical, charm neclaces, thus left Mario heartbroken. As you might have already guessed, this pissed off ALOT of MarioXPeach fans which, I don't blame them, I was pissed too!>: (
Mario went through all that trouble for nothing!
Besides, he looks gay anyways.
So anyways, I decided to draw Haru. I SLIGHTLY made some changes to him to make him look more like someone from the Mario series.

I'm not really a MarioXPeach fan, (I kinda prefer they leave Mario & Peach's relationship ambigious in the game canon, at least) but I admit the ending was kinda a downer. It was still a good movie though.
Nice work on the Prince dude. 
Also kinda funny his (SPOILER) transformed dog form looked alot like a Wiggler, and this movie came out 5 or 6 years before "Super Mario World" debuted on the Super Famicom/NES. (Wich introduced the Wiggler catipillars) Also Mario defeated King Koopa in a simular manner to Super Mario 64, as well. It makes me curious if the movie had any slight influence on the game series.

I thought the movie was okay too; but I absolutely LOVE the song "Doki doki do it" I would travel ANY road with this blaring in my ears.
