Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + IR remote. Self-portrait sitting on the basement floor. Lightened midtones and darkened shadows in tone editing to increase contrast. Color balancing to bring out the purple hues of the shadows. No noise reduction despite the ISO 1000 for the preservation of textures.

What I meant was 'wireless frequency' or even better said, a radio frequency one. They dont require any line of sight to the receiving camera.

Adorama generally has quite a substantial mark up.
The kids in Hong Kong on eBay however can get the job done for less than 20 USD
I can't post eBay links for some reason, but if you search "Wireless Remote Shutter Release for Nikon D80 D70S" you'll find the YN-128 which I've used in the past to excellent effect.

Oh it's so pretty
I love the playfulness of the colours in the shadow and the lights bouncing around. The tutu definatly stands out beautifuly and now time to gush about the knee-highs. They are so amazing and I've been trying to find a pair for the longest time! Does it take forever to lace them up?
