Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + IR remote. Self-portrait sitting on the basement floor. Lightened midtones and darkened shadows in tone editing to increase contrast. Color balancing to bring out the purple hues of the shadows. No noise reduction despite the ISO 1000 for the preservation of textures.

Such a nice set up. Maybe I should try jacking up ISO to obscene amounts instead of just picking an easier better-lit place to shoot.
