Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 18-55mm Nikkor + IR remote. Self-portrait sitting on the basement floor. Lightened midtones and darkened shadows in tone editing to increase contrast. Color balancing to bring out the purple hues of the shadows. No noise reduction despite the ISO 1000 for the preservation of textures.

checked out that tutorial on portraiture shots, very helpful. My self portraits almost always turned out out of focus, so having one of those shutter buttons would be great! Didn't even think of that! So thanks!

The shoes cost $29.99 USD plus tax; a bit more than what I would like to spend on shoes but quite a bargain compared to other knee high converse styled shoes out there

haha I have a pair of converse high-tops, but the right shoe has a huge cut in it (which I patched with duct-tape) so I need a new pair. I have always wanted the knee-high ones, but all the Converse All-Star ones I saw were much too expensive.
I live in Canada (and I'm poor) so 29.99$ would be more here, and I don't have that much money to begin with.

I thought they were the Converse version, too! But now that I know I can get them from Payless for only $30... I think I should buy some
