Description

Prepare for some massive boys. Cyro certainly wasn't the only one, and Neero here won't be the last.

Biography

Neero is one of the Brotherhood of Makuta's tactical commanders. He's intelligent but short tempered and difficult to get along with. He has an impressive service record, even though most of his tactics primarily rely on superior numbers and power- power which he or his rahi provides when his conventional tactics fail. The rahi he brings into battle are of his own making- the focus of his duty as a rahi creator like other makuta- designed with great endurance and ferocity that cannot be tamed.

When the Barraki came into power, Neero despised Miserix for having the Brotherhood comply with demands to make rahi for the Barrakis' armies, so much so that he downright refused to provide rahi- fresh or existing. After the fall of the League of Six Kingdoms, he began making plans to strengthen the Brotherhood's militia and then overthrow Miserix, taking his place and leading the Brotherhood to rise up as the world's true rulers, as he believes they were more worthy than the Barraki ever were.

Neero is one of the most powerful and cunning makuta of the Brotherhood. He's typically not ambitious, but he's very thorough and meticulous with his methods and knows how to maintain authority over those he commands, even other makuta. He's also a formidable warrior- especially on riding atop his personal rahi steed, Carbogan, with his halberd at hand. He wears the Kanohi Arthron, the Great Mask of Sonar, which uses echolocation to keep Neero alert to his surroundings.

Figure Blabber

Neero was created when I decided to give Cyro and his fellow mocs a story line. The other makuta I built already had characters that I decided didn't make the cut of Main Antagonist, so I decided another makuta was in order. I also entertained the concept of giving said makuta a steed to ride, just to pimp him out over the others. At this point, my inventory of pieces was already low from building my many mocs and I barely managed to scrape by and build a halfway-decent moc that would be Neero.

Years later of more parts and experience building, and we now have a bigger and WAY better Neero. I doubt that this version will ever have a steed to ride, but he's now massive enough that he doesn't really need it (still gonna keep Carbogan in Cyro's Story). I could settled for a more basic look for Neero- by "basic", I mean less spikes and edges. But after a few tests to fill in some gaps, I ended up having to add more for consistency throughout his armor. I can't complain, though- he's even more amazing looking because of it.

Also, if you happen to think his weapon looks odd- you're right. But look up images of medival halberds and you may judge mine a little less.
