May take time to load.

Recoloring a horse from bay/buckskin to black in simple steps! At least, I hope this isn't too complicated.

I tried this tutorial out it worked, but I tried it out on a test horse, but I will post it in my scraps if you want me to... I did have little problems with the adjustment, it kept looking like a black and white photo, but I did manage get it right. After playing around with it..

One more question my horse has a strip of white on its face how would I turn white into black??

I'm glad it helped

For the strip of white, you could try using the Burn tool on "Highlights," but I would probably just use the Clone tool to get rid of it.

This was definitely helpful! I'm working on something right now where I needed to change a palomino to a light grey. I was able to apply most of these techniques in order to do it.

The menus in Elements are different, probably. I googled a bit and found this:
Enhance > Adjust Color > Adjust Hue/Saturation
This menu was for Elements 3, but try it?
