My darkness... Roses of blood dance in raven hair, pallid flesh moves with smooth seduction. Ethereal and unreal, shadow given flesh and form. Each night my sins come back to haunt me...

I've watched sin city one too many times. This was one of a couple of experiements in a limited palette. Nothing but every shade of cool grey, black, white and a red pencil.
Edit: because someone asked, this was done with prismacolor pencils on black cardstock.

This is a gorgeously colored picture. I love the movement and flow of the lines pulling the eye diagonally down over the entire image: the cloth, the hair, the angle of her body.

This is absolutely haunting. The shape of her body is willowy and graceful, the slopes of her back and arm so appealing to the eye and just further glorified by the wisps of her hair. This is magnificent and just drowning in beauty, I can't even find the right words for it. Just.. simply.. gorgeous and captivating.

I absolutely love this piece and admire your work. You are absolutely brilliant! I'm sure it takes plenty of practice, but I wanted to tell you--I am aghast, absolutely awestruck, by your amazing talent and your ability to blend colours. You make coloured pencils look like magic on paper.
