Description
This is a photo of everyday life in the Philippines. A commonality in almost every street in the metro and suburbs - a homeless young boy, half naked and hopeless. Nothing left to wear, nothing left to eat. No home, no family. No hope - for now. If only we could do something. Something to change this cruel yet predictable world. One step at a time, one step at a time.--

Jesus, this picture tugs at one's very being. You made the statement, "If only we could do something. Something to change this cruel yet predictable world." Mankind is unable to change such conditions but I chose to look to a higher power to bring an end to such conditions not only in the Philippines but the whole world.

This photo reaches the very core of my emotions (like a good photo should). It is a super shot with a great reality of sadness. We certainly are not doing our part in this word. This just shouldn't be. He's just a boy and like all of us.... has a heart, emotions, and a purpose in life.

Wow, amazing. I totally agree, we are all spoilt, it boils down to this fact: we are lucky, and we need to appreciate what we have. Because there are people who don't even have clothes, not even a home, and have to beg, to have food, the thing we need most to survive. Absolutely shocking, yet amazing photo. Congrats on the daily deviation.
