Description
Due to a large number of request over the last few months, I have decided to put up this tutorial on how I create the eyes that I do on my paintings. I consider the eyes to be the single most important feature and if you can get them right, you will be well on the way to creating a beautiful portrait.This is the way I do the eyes and other artist will have their own ways of doing things. I find this works for me and I really hope this works for you.

I never use smudge tool, I just blend using a soft brush. I hope this helps

ok wow...am new on ps digital drawing..do u have any tut video? i try doing that but i just cant do...may be am doing something wrong..i dunno....

I'll be doing full videos and full written tutorials very soon. I'm self taught and what I do is I use the standard soft brush for 95% of all my paintings. When I block the colours, the soft brush settings for Flow and Opacity is always in 100% with the pressure sensitivity OFF. Then with blending the colours, painting the hair or even cloths and detail...turn BOTH Flow and Opacity down to 50% each with the pressure sensitivity ON for both. You will find you can blend so easily. I know that many artist might paint differently to me, but my method is so straight forward and simple. One soft brush and only one brush setting (apart from blocking the initial colours, when its at 100%). I never use the smudge or blur tools and never use masks as I find them impossible to use. I hope this helps you

(sorry for jumping in your convo I hope you don't mind lol)I just read this and had to say can't wait I have been hoping so much that you would be doing FULL videos of step by step instructions for beginners like me..I want so bad to learn,but the information is hard to grasp and there is so many different tools and ways to make things look I am lost and over whelmed..I will look forward to each and every one when you do..I think many will be very grateful as I'm sure you were when you started for any out there even tony bits to learn from

I draw the lines, using just a normal soft brush with the colour of what you what the iris to be. But please don't worry about all this as I will do a full video and I will paint and talk, in actual time
