Day 3 of Taang Week by wherein I bring you page 3: Forgiveness.Confession: You know how the first two pages were fluffy, happy bordering-on-the-edge-of-crack-humorous Taang? Well lemme tell you, there is NO WAY to make the theme Forgiveness funny... at least, not without diminishing the significance of forgiveness being offered. (That's my take on it; then again, there might be people out there who could pull it off.
)I tried, as you can probably tell, but halfway through I gave in and plunged headfirst into the TAANGST... 'cause according to Toph, there are things that Aang did in the past that he's never completely answered for.

When I saw the nutcracking scene in Bitter Work, one possible line always comes to mind, I made it myself, but it may be too dirty for Nick:
"Hey Aang I took your nuts, figured you wouldn't need 'em."
Aang yells at both Toph (and Katara) during the story, but I NEVER heard him apologize to either. Either he's a jerk, he forgot, or they are closer friends than I thought(or more, in this case).

Ahahaha, I love that first panel. X3 As much as you say making Forgiveness funny is hard I can think of a bunch of ways, though not so much relating to this story, you pulled off some giggles with the chibis in Toph's imaginebubble. I love her expression there, too.

Dude, it's always bothered me how Aang never really said sorry about being a total PMSy bitch to Toph in the desert after they lost Appa. >_> At the same time, I guess it speaks volumes about their friendship that he didn't have to.
