The funny thing about this page... when I showed it to my sister, she commented that if she were in Toph's place, she wouldn't have put up with Aang's pity party -- she'd have sent him packing to "go tell it to Katara!"

However, I believe that if Aang was so down as to spill his guts to Toph (like Zuko did at Ember Island), she'd at least hear him out. Plus, she has her own emotional baggage... which I'll touch on in the next couple pages.
