yeah, thats very true. im glad they did at least that. Also, ur rite about the creators. They have no clue what all of us fans want. and if they did, it would be VERY VERY hard to please them all. so, ur rite. 
They probably didnt change her hair cuz nobody (except for toph herself) knows how to get it in that bun. XD
But, still it would be cool just to see it straighten down blowing in the wind...but, hey that is what fanart is for.

haha yea...
I love her hair down. All flowy in the breeze kind of deal. She looks more feminine and pretty too.
It also makes her look and probably feel more vulnerable as well. Which brings in Aang to cheer her up! haha.
The creators made the two best pairings and they didn't even end up together. (Zutara,, Taang)
It's a shame really. It would have made alot more sense in the end. Everyone would be happy.
Because in the original ending, Toph has no one. Poor Toph.

I dunno. I had a friend run up to me one day telling me that she found out how Toph puts her hair in a bun and then she did it just like her's. and she has hair about that length.
