Elsewhere Taang Week (by ) ... is finished. Done. And, for better or worse, so is Day 5's Shy theme. Moving on! To the gray space between Day 5 and Day 6: Ecstasy....Truthfully I don't like this page as much as the others (being somewhat poorly planned, non-sequitor, and drawn with a hacking cough). Plus, once again I am dragging this out. Not on purpose, but because my plots seem to be incapable of grasping the concept "short and sweet". NOTHING I DO SEEMS TO CONCLUDE IN A TIMELY FASHION. WHY?? *headdesk of despair*
Ah well... at least we're moving closer to the end...

Eh, I'm thinking I might've done this one before TAU, actually-- TAU started late March-April of 2009, which was quite a few months after this page was posted. Still, I guess it was a precursor of things to come.

I don't think there's anything that states specifically that only the women Waterbenders can heal, just like nothing states the male Waterbenders are the only ones who can use it to fight. My guess is it's mostly just a tradition-enforced thing, judging by the last few epis of Book I.
Heh, I think it shouldn't have too much of an effect. The guidelines Bryke set up are very flexible and full of loopholes and exceptions.

She's just making a joke: despite all his talk of airbending and waterbending, Healers seem to be exclusively female waterbenders (which Aang definately is not). Thus: "genderbending"... she's also poking fun at his referring to his past lives as Avatar. Who knows, in one lifetime or another he could've been a Water Tribe Healer. ^^
Aang just overreacts cuz he's still touchy over the Ember Island Players' portayal of him in the play, with the bald actress.
