Wherein Toph debunks the Stupid!Arguments against Taang, and Aang protects Momo's innocence. Please, do think of the lemurs!
Inspired by this post at capslock_taang: [link] There are other debunkings there, but these are mine. ...yes, I do kinda lurk a lot. >.> <.<;;
It's a bit sketchy, but hopefully still readable. Hope you enjoy!
EDIT: To clarify Stupid!Argument #2... for the record, I like Zutarians. I am a Zutarian. But as far as Toph is concerned, there's no real comparison between herself and Sugar Queen/Sparky.
Characters belong to Mike and Bryan and Nickelodeon.

I love this deviation and Toph gave fine answers to those absurd questions. Toph is Aang's Lois Lane and I am sticking too that. Katara is his Lana Lang and we all know where that goes (Smallville fan seeing the parallels between the two shows and the romances involved).

Taang isn't sexy, neither is KATAANG! They're all under the fifteen! It's cute like it is supposed to be.

To be fair, the author said the arguments came from a multi-fandom forum... it may not have been Kataangers, it might as well have been some other ship. In any case it doesn't say. ^^
I don't really get why Zutara seems to have a bad rep, but then again I try to stay away from the online poo-flinging

Eh, I think Toph enjoys Aang's wimpiness (can't always be all All-Powerful Avatar xP); he's not like Katara who often gives her grief about what she does. Also, it seems Aang's a bit passive-aggressive anyways

It's true! She likes having someone she can beat on but that is also strong enough to stand beside her. And, really, the only things that come close to Toph's Badassery are Aang's Avatarness and Sokka's Existance. XD

I have to admit, I looooooove Taang. Most people assume this is because I'm a Zutarian, but that's not true. Those two captured my heart as soon as they ran hand-in-hand in "The Blind Bandit!" And xcgirl08's Taang fics further converted me. The tough little Earthbender locked away all her life swept away by the boy who soars the skies. *That* is very swoony. Actually, Taang has the potential to be the most romantic of all the Avatar pairings. Viva la Taang!

I completely agree. I think of it as Zutara got me interested in checking out the show, but when I actually watched the episodes it was Toph and Taang that totally captured my imagination (and flew away with it... on Appa 
Besides, I think that Taang often brings an optimistic light-hearted air to what otherwise is usually pretty deep and aangsty. They're so amazing together, how can one resist? ^^
