I have begun to worry about my sketching ability beginning to slip so I spent the afternoon sketching foxes from reference photos. They looked a bit dull in grey scale so I gave them a splash of colour.
Foxes are a cause of much emotional dissonance for me. As an enthusiast for animals that are cunning and break the mould a little, I am a keen vulpine fan. But as a student biologist wishing to study Australian fauna, the feral red fox is a real menace. (not to mention a devil in the chook pen)

All sketched from photos, several of which are from DA as well as a wonderful tutorial about drawing foxes with many helpful hints.
