Description
This is a tutorial showing how to create a 3D-effect to a picture.I have used this technique in several of my pictures...

Which version of Photoshop do you have??? Do you know how to Ctrl+Click a layer to select the object in it???

i have Photoshop CS. i believe i am doing the Crtl+Click part right, but the layer mask is not showing up as an option in the layer menu

it is when i do the selection... the layer mask is not highlighted as an available option in the layer menu.

When you do the actual selection... in the bottom of the Layers palette, there is a Layer Mask button...
As long as you already have the selection in place... it should apply easily...
If you have trouble finding the Layer Mask button... I will find a way to send you a screenshot... Or I may edit my tutorial to reflect the button...
