Description
Original Size: 11" x 14"Medium: Acrylics, Colour Pencils and Molding Paste on Illustration Board
As referred to in my Goddess of Sand submission, this is the horror piece I did for my display for the upcoming New York Comic Con. I went with a vampire (vampires are my favourite).
Though he isn't strictly Count Orlok, the likeness is intentional, so you're welcome to interpret him that way. I prefer my vampires to be walking corpses rather than rainbow-skinned heart-throbs. I love how the textures came out on this piece (I'm a texture-fiend). I hope you all enjoy the painting.

As it should be. I like my vampires monstrous. Not looking like a bunch teenage pseudo-goth pop icons.

Oh, that is so pretty! I'm impressed that this was done traditionally. The textures look great.

Thank you. I'm very big on textures, and I almost exclusively work traditionally these days (except for the more cartoonish work I do for Game-Flush.com). I just love having a physical piece of art in my hand.

I am so sorry! I did not realize you wanted to add your k to our group. I ll add it. I have been having to use an iPad and it's not too easy. S I miss some things when I am fighting the iPad.

Awesome. As always.
The eyes give it a really creepy touch and I love the texture of the fog... and the eyebrows.

Thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you like the fog as I haven't covered a figure (partially) in fog in a painting before. Good to know it grabbed your attention.
