Description
A game character me and a game group at school are working on.

The setting takes place in Feudal Japan, with some elements of magic and folklore added, such as the inclusion of demons like Oni's and Akuma's, and even Yokai!

Moeru is the daughter of a Shinto family and was supposed to train to be a high priestess like her mother, but frequently abandoned her studies and spent more time learning martial arts with the village kids. To avoid attention she would disguise herself as a boy to spar against the other village boys, developing a hardened and tomboyish personality.

However a totalitarian Emperor seeking to destroy the Shinto religion sent troops to have her father killed, and their temple shutdown.

Being a Shinto family, they had a shrine which held many artifacts within.

After their temple had been raided, one object mysteriously remained. It was a box, and from within it 2 giant magical gauntlets suddenly appeared and latched themselves on to her arm!

Realizing the destiny bestowed on her through these powerful weapons, she plans to join a resistance formed to combat the threat of this violently growing Empire.

However, it would seem much darker forces are in play somewhere in the midst of all this...
