Description Another concept I've had in mind for awhile. a comic with the bad guys as the protagonists. Ideally, it would be able to focus on any of the bad guys in my universe, but this mock cover focuses on Deathknell -the big, skull-face guy- building his crew. Wormhole is the skinny kid and Brazen is the metallic girl.
I conceived Deathknell as a low-level organized crime mook, who saw that his options were limited as long as he stayed on that track and took the opportunity of finding an ultratech warsuit as a means of escaping the rut he was in. Hehas a theatrical flair and plays the villain to hilt, but he's really in it for the money and excitement.
Wormhole is your basic nerd, with a stunted personality. In his late teens, he's probably emotionally 11 or 12, and one of the most powerful men in the world. He is the reason the crew always escapes. Left to his own devices, he'd play video games and plot the demises of his childhood tormentors, never actually doing much, though he did send half of Tommy Huddleston's Jeep Wrangler to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Not while Tommy was driving it, of course.
Wormhole has anger buried deep and Deathknell knows it. Rather than risk the kid sending the world into another dimension, he channels Wormholes repressed rage into a more constructive (from his point of view) path.
Brazen's a bit different. She's a criminal by accident. Her powers manifested during an assault and she killed her assailants. Messily. Her body turned to some kind of malleable living metal, she's about 20 times stronger than she was before, her fingernails can cut concrete and stone, and she's bulletproof.

I'm guessing Wormhole can teleport, what are Deathknell and Brazen's abilities?

Deathknell is a former mob enforcer with a little too much smarts, who lucked into an exotic suit of armor and had the intelligence to disguise it. It gives him the ability to drain powers from supers, gives him super-strength, flight and some energy and force-field powers. But, his main "power" is organizational. He saw that the mob was a flawed organization, too big, too unwieldy, and too expensive to keep going. Also, walking around committing crimes with your face showing in a world where video surveillance was increasing exponentially meant inevitable incarceration. So, when the opportunity came, he faked his own death and recreated himself. And he began recruiting. He doesn't let on that all his powers come from the suit.

Brazen is a girl who had one bad night. One night, as she was leaving work, she was attacked by three men and dragged into an alley. Then something happened to her, she changed and then the screaming began. She walked out of the alley a living bronze statue and her attackers never walked out of the alley at all. She's immensely strong and nearly invulnerable.
