The Owlman from Justice League Crisis on Two Earths to me was the most iconic, and the darkest, and the deepest for many reasons.

He always seemed like a creep version of Batman, in his first appearance. He had the Shadow's ability to muck with minds, sort-of. At least he's not a mind-rapist, like Chuck Xavier. That guy is a true monster.
