Near picture perfect Toph, especially considering you haven't seen the show. Only thing wrong is the eyes. She's blind, so the eyes are sort of...cloudy?
Toph is all kinds of awesome. Let's just say that there is a reason why I'm not the only one that refuses to believe that she actually died in the 70 years between the end of A:TLA and the beginning of Legend of Korra. Toph Bei Fong does not subscribe to such mere trivialities as "human mortality."

I suppose it could be argued that Yakone killed everyone in the room, but there's no real indication he didn't just knock them out like [insert name here] does later on.
That's a downside to flashbacks. There is no aftermath and they keep things vague. I'm not saying she didn't die there, but I do not believe that is the case.

You never saw TLAB? You're missing out dude, it's personally my favorite cartoon of all time. Its fantastic visuals and complex but highly interesting storyline make the supposed high quantity of eps (60) highly enjoyable, you really should at least glance at a few episodes.
