Description
The repost of my newest deviation - I had to do it 'cause it didn't appeared in my gallery (and it wasn't even in the overall deviation charts after 2 hours). Well, If thats the case of this post too, then I'll just keep it that way and put this piece into my journal...Anyway - this is version 1.0 - maybe I'll later add some other features, but now it can stand for itself, so enjoy it!
Oh, and the resolutions:
1024x768
1280x960
1600x1050
1600x1200

I'm extremely interested in learning how to make things like this. What do you use? I would say it's straight Photoshop with a lot of manipulation, but I'm guessing I'm wrong.

It's a stright photoshop with a lot of hand (tablet) painting (brushing) and a bit of photomanip.

I accidently cliked on "Request as print", so I don't really want a print of this, though it is an awesome artwork.

Why 1600x1050? that's not a resolution in use, 1680x1050 is though (all 20-22'' widescreen 16:10 monitors).

i brrrr wow .. totally amazed that you are able to create something like this...
one thought makes me really happy that you can, but another thought makes me wonder if those pictures from hubble are truly pictures - they sometimes are almost too beautifull to be true in my perspective..
ill be watching you too...

For some reason, I think of the bluebottle jellyfish when I see this, maybe its the colour and shape, and how some areas, like the dust clouds, have a cool translucent effect to them as you can kinda see blue light coming through

nice, yeah I've tried similar things recently, but by the time I end up trying them out my file is already over a gig so it chugs a bit hehe. So its all done using planet textures and texture brushes,?
