Recently Hot Topic youtube channel released a video interview with Applejack where she revealed that she got her hat "Bobbing for Apples at the Ponyville Fair," (See the full interview here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWcxeB… ) after seeing that video I decided to make a comic to expand on that a bit.Production on this comic was hard due to the fact that my art program kept freezing up while I was drawing it, but I'm pretty satisfied after finishing it. I personally think this is one of my best comics, it's one of my few comics that actually makes me kind of emotional.

It's said that her parents are dead. If she told them about where it really came from it would eventually go down the road of telling them. It's just kinder to tell them one part of it without the other darker half.
This is just my take on it though. You can draw your own conclusions.

Great job expanding on what canon gave you! Most people I saw just decided to be disappointed that it wasn't a cooler story, but you took what you were given and made something with it.
