Description
Been wanting to do this meme originally made by SkooIsCoo for awhile.*Who I look like.
I remember getting constant comments about me looking like Harry Potter growing up. Even though I didn't really get into the series until my late teen years. I think I look a little less like him today, but this was the first thing that came to mind when it asked who I look like.
*Who I act like.
While some people might say I'm more Pinkie Pie-ish I think I overall act more like Rarity due to my passion for art and the way I often overreact to things and jump to the worst conclusions a lot. Plus we are both fabulous darling.
*Who I want to be.
Jeff Smith created possibly the greatest comic book epic of all time and continues to put great work out to this day while still owning every comic and character he's created, why wouldn't I want to be him?
*What my style resembles.
I get a lot of comments that my art style resembles the Fairy OddParents, Billy and Mandy, and Wander Over Yonder, but the most consistent comparison I've noticed recently is that of Kyle Carrozza's Mighty Magiswords and I can see why since we both have very similar ways of drawing. The over the top poses and expressions, the way we highlight our eyes, among many other things. I suppose it makes sense since I did follow a lot of Kyle Carrozza's stuff when he was a webcomic artist before he got a show on Cartoon Network, but it didn't really hit me till recently (speaking of which that reminds me I really should catch up with Mighty Magiswords soon).
*What style inspires me.
I could go on forever about my many influences over the years, but if I had to pin down my biggest one it would have to be Disney cartoons of the the late 20s and 1930s, obviously with Mickey Mouse as a big focus. The style was always appealing to me from the moment I first saw it as a kid via VHS tapes of the classic shorts. I remember reading several books about the history of Disney which lead to me being the obsessive cartoon nerd I am today (and how I learned about Oswald the Lucky Rabbit). To put it simply, if it wasn't for Mickey Mouse I probably wouldn't be a cartoonist today.
*What style I avoid.
Filmation.
Do I really need to explain why?

Now that you mention, your style DOES look a lot like Kyle Carrozza's Mighty Magiswords . But your art still has this charming look to it.

It could help for someone who's not in-the-know about what Filmation is.
