Why do people make Steampunk weapons with Nerf guns? It doesn't make sense to me.

Price. Having a pre-constructed base to work off of vs building from scratch is a no-brainer for people who can't afford the higher of cost making a one-off original. It brings convention props to the masses! heh

It's just, Nerf guns already have a modern/futuristic look to them. I personally prefer Nerf guns being made to look even more advanced. Though in this one, I did notice you spliced the Longshot's barrel blaster into the the front of the actual Longshot itself.

I had that done prior to receiving it for paint, but you are exactly right. I think it makes the gun look quite a but different from the typical longshot

Well, now one can do a double shot with much greater ease. But I would prefer to leave my Longshot as is. The only thing I'd like to do is paint my guns, and put glowing paint on the sights, for night use.

Maybe that's where it needs to go. I will have to see how that works while holding the gun. If it messes with you line of site it might have to go back to the other side

I also like the 'access' but the yellow doesn't really fit for the same reason. Well. A similar reason. But I really like it, so please don't remove it. Just make it look engraved or something. :I
