I use Photohsop CS4 and a Hanvon "Artmaster" graphic tablet. I only use the two default airbrushes in Photoshop: hard and soft round airbrush.

After receiving so much positive feedback on my eyetutorial, I thought it would be a good idea to also make tutorials about other parts of the face! ^-^ So this is my lips-tutorial!
Feel free to download it and use it on your own pictures, but please credit me and link back to this tutorial if you create something with the help of it! And I would also love to see what you created! I hope this will be helpful for you!

I used this tutorial and it helped a lot. Just had trouble with the edges but other then that my result looked pretty good thank you so much for the tutorial.

Beautiful result.. : D Wow, do you always only use the default brushes? I find it kind of hard to mix colors in PS... there's no good water color tool.. at least not in PS7.

This is insane!!! It's amazing that you are able to create this sort of lifelike image!!! I'm sure this will help many people who are aspiring to reach a realistic form of digital artwork. I know it will help me a bunch. How long does it take you to finish your images?? It looks like they'd take years with all the effort and detail you put into them.
