Hahaha, worked for about 10 hours on this tutorial, I really hope it will help you! It shows the detailed process of the creation of my "Spirited Away" painting and this is basically how I draw nearly all of my pictures. I hope you like it, I would be soo happy about feedback, favs and critiques! This tutorial has helped me LOADS! I only had a basic knowledge about colouring but this make the programme make so much more sense!

I like this. I haven't done a lot of digital painting, but what I get stuck on is what to do with the line art--I usually end of hiding the layer and then everything suddenly looks like it has sloppy edges. Merging it in and then covering it up seems like a good idea. I'll have to try it.

I'm starting to try digital art, I'm using Photoshop too (CS5), just wondering, what size do you normally set your canvas to? (This one, for example). Trying to find the right size to allow max detail and stuff >.>
