Since I've been asked around 759 times how I make my coloring look like the way it is, how I use alcohol and how I combine markers with colored pencils etc. etc. I decided to sit down for fucking eight hours and do this goddamn tutorial, because I love you guys β₯ and I want to help you improving.
I know pictures are nice but also please fucking READ IT!

So this is the process of this drawing/painting including tips and the usage of the many differnt tools I'm working with.
Oh and I couldn't differnt but being a little sarcastic and trying to put a few jokes here and there.

may i ask how much os one of the copic markers and the fine liners cause i would really like to try to make one of these cause they look beautiful

I suggest trying your luck to find copics on ebay. They're usually very expensive and are around 8-9 USD per piece. Although, sometimes you may manage to get them for a lot cheaper on ebay.

Truly an amazing tutorial, I always look at this whenever I feel stuck in the process of coloring or simply needs some inspiration. The alcohol trick worked wonders, I tried it through using some strange little bottle of some alcohol used for cleaning old video tapes... It actually worked, but I've ran all out of it now, so I just though I should ask... Where can you get the ethanol you're using? I figure that the liquour store won't do

About the ethanol (Isopropanol works, too!) , i'd try to look at ebay or Amazon (etc.), I think you could find something there. I always use the ethanol my mother buys for our ethanol-oven, it comes in pretty big bottles but is actually quite cheap. :]

To be honest, I almost gave up working on it because Photoshop broke down when I was almost done and everything was gone. D:
I had a hard time remembering what I have written and to make everything again, but now I'm glad I didn't give up.

I will always Draw with my HB pencil and my Color pencils.
But those Copic things look great on the drawing!

Copic markers are fairly expensive and a set of 72 costs around 500-600$ when being bought new. I can recommend bidding on ebay here, a good offer there saves a lot of your money!

Thanks a lot for this tutorial. The scale thing was new for me. I saw dot's like this appear when I use watercolor, but to use them for scale that I didn't think of.
And white and black strokes were interesting to see in action. So thanks a lot for your major work!
