Original here

Lacked inspiration to manipulate my own image so decided to throw another of mine into the mix to see if that worked

The Process
Original RAW Tower image opened in Camera Raw,converted to 16bit and processed using Recovery,Blacks, clarity and contrast adjustments.
Opened in CS4,re-converted to 8bit.
Tried several adjustments but was uninspired by all results,so:
Merged 2 Tonemapped RAW files (taken by me from "The Skirrid" mountain here in Monmouthshire last year) into a 2 shot Panorama.
Using Lasso tool in CS4 cut around Tower and pasted it into new Tonemapped background.
Used Free Transform tool to scale it into place.
Rotated Tower to right slightly.
Cloned some ferns around base of Tower.
Added a Hue/Saturation and Colour Balance adjustment layer to Tower to blend it into backdrop better.
Re-sized and sharpened to 1280 pixels.
Added Cinematic Border.

The edit is a stunning piece of craftsmanship ! The light over the fareaway distant view really adds to the atmosphere. The flip around of the tower works well too. I like the colours and stunning contrast in this photo. All very beautifully done.
