11x14" paper! Professional graphite pencil kit! Next level drawing apparatus is complete!The library in Canterlot we saw in the first episode, where our favorite egghead dwelt all day reading every last book in the library. Can you imagine such a feat?
I gave it a more steampunk/victorian feel to it, as if this was how it looked way back when.
I'm not gonna lie, I don't really like this one. Didn't turn out right. It's probably my lack of experience with actual art pencils.. I'm not sure if I should keep using them or not. Or maybe it's because this took me what seemed to be forever to finish it and that set my standards ridiculously high. Maybe both? well, whatever. Hope you like it more than I do.
Completion time~ 28 hours over a period of 6 days.

How did you stand drawing all those books?! I've drawn two small bookcases for a portrait of my pony OC Meep's room, and I'm a patient person so it wasn't too bad but I haven't worked on the drawing since LOL XD

Holy crap (excuse the language), this looks awesome! The hybridization of show and steampunk style, this actually reminds me a bit of the Duke's Archive's from Dark Souls (without the insane Crystal monsters!)

You've got to admit...you need to give yourself a HUGE pat on the back, even if YOU don't think so...it's a really AMAZING drawing, very detailed (love it), great mood/feeling (love it), great texture on the floor boards (love it, and yes it's been said already) and technique (yes it has!)
You remind me of me, I'm a perfectionist (a downfall sometimes) and sometimes I don't see my own potential or see what other people see!

It's been said, but your wood texturing is incredible. As for your professional pencils, you just need to keep going with them. I'm sure it's got a learning curve, just like everything else, right?

whatever you say it is an insult to not call this perfect. this drawing is THE best drawing i have ever seen. and anyone who says this is not an awsome drawing is blind or just an asshole. and dont you dare stop drawing with this talent you are going to become a freaking a freaking drawing artist.
